I met Tony Hawk in Montana with my brother when he was visiting our local skate park.
He let people line up to take a picture with everyone and gave everyone an autograph.
He really is one of the nicest guys, and is very down to earth.
I went on the Pirates of the Caribbean ride at Disney with Tony Hawk. He had given me his autograph earlier at a convention and we just happened to be in line together. He was really cool.
He lives pretty close to my neighborhood and both him and his 80-something year old mother are some of the nicest people I've ever met.
Tony Hawk helped raise money for my nephew after he was struck by a drunk driver when he was standing in his front yard, he was holding a skateboard and put it up to cover his face just before impact, which may have saved his life. Tony sent him a bunch of autographed skateboarding stuff too and sold some at auction for him.
